Shortly after 11:30p Thursday, October 30th, Truck 1 along with units from Co. 34, 44, 12 and Montgomery 2 & 16 were dispatched for a reported house fire in the 1000 block of Merrimac Drive in Langley Park. Engine 34 arrived reporting fire showing from a vacant house. Truck 1 arrived with a crew of seven and laddered three sides of the house, removed plywood from the doors and windows and allow access.
Crews conducted searches inside and opened up before going in service after about 90 minutes.
Additional engine companies from Co. 11 & 712 also requested.
