At 0406 hours, Engine 11 and Squad 1 were alerted to respond to 9614 Cherry Hill Lane for the 2nd alarm apartment fire. HVFD responded with 12 volunteers to the scene. Engine 11 arrived first in staging followed shortly after by Squad 1. Engine 11’s crew was sent to Division 4 to assist the crew from 41 with their line. Additionally, the crew checked for occupants and forced a number of doors to verify everyone had exited safely. Squad 1 was assigned the RIC responsibilities for the fireground. Units cleared the scene after approximately three hours.
