On Sunday afternoon, the Truck Company was dispatched as the first due special service for the reported apartment fire at 8135 15th ave in Company 34’s area.
Engine 834 (Chillum-Adelphi) arrived reporting smoke showing on Side Delta, with a working basement level fire.
Truck 1’s interior crew went to the fire apartmejnt and opened up, then checked for extension after all visible fire was knocked down.
The exterior crew threw ground ladders and cut the metal fence providing access to the Charlie and Delta sides of the building. The Tilerman went to the roof and provided reports to command.
Truck 1 remained on the scene with Co. 34 for investigators.
