RS1 Responds to 2-Alarm Fire

At 1213 hours, RS1 dispatched on the first alarm to Montgomery County for a house fire in Hillendale’s first due just off of New Hampshire Ave. The Squad responded from quarters with 4 and was assigned as an attack group by Command. Pulling a 2.5″ attack line off of E921, the Squad crew pushed through the house and helped extinguish much of the fire up in the attic. The fire ended up at 2 alarms due to exposures and serious extension throughout the house. The squad was in service around 1400 hours.
