The Hyattsville VFD participated Friday (Dec. 13) in the annual Stuff-a-Truck program to support the Capital Area Food Bank in partnership with Fox 5, CBS Radio and Giant Food stores. As we’ve done in recent years, the department and its members donated non-perishable items at the Giant on East West Highway. The Food Bank feeds more than 700,000 area residents in need during the holiday season.
