HVFD on 9’s Apartment Fire

At 2235 hours, E11 and RS1 were alerted to the apartment fire at 5403 Hamilton St. in Co. 9’s first due. E11 arrived 4th due and secured a water supply and staged while Squad 1 assumed first due responsibilities per command. Upon entry to the second floor apartment, it was apparent there was only a room off. The squad with 6 went to work opening up, ventilating, and providing lights while E92 wet down the apartment. Both E11 and RS1 were clear of the scene at 2259 hours.
