The HVFD is hosting our first-ever Volunteer Recruitment Event at the firehouse Sunday, April 12 from 11a-4p, part of a statewide recruitment day for the volunteer fire/rescue service.
Our firehouse will be open to individuals interested in joining a progressive, well-trained, growing volunteer fire, rescue & EMS organization. Opportunities for experienced and newbies alike in operational, administrative and support roles, as well as our live-in program for trained and experienced college students & professionals.

You may come at any time, but please plan to arrive before 3pm. Please RSVP to aa@hvfd.com. The firehouse is located at 6200 Belcrest Road, adjacent to the Prince George’s Plaza Metro on the Green line. Have friends interested in joining too? Bring them along.
