At about 2 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12th, PE844 & PA844 were dispatched for a reported injured person in the 1500 block of Madison Street, Chillum.
Upon arrival they found an adult male with one of his fingers stuck inside of his vehicle’s sunroof track. Squad 1 was requested, responding with a crew of 6.
The Squad used a variety of tools including an air-powered saw and hydraulic O-cutters to remove the sunroof track and free the victim’s hand.
The patient was transported to an area trauma center with non life-threatening injuries.
