Just after 2200 hours, Engine 1 was dispatched as second due engine for the reported house fire in the 900 block of Ray Road in Company 44’s area –Chillum. Paramedic Engine 844 arrived on the scene reporting smoke showing from the split level home.
Engine 1 picked up 44’s split lay at the intersection and pulled a second attack line — the 400′ off Engine 844 to side Charlie of the home, making entry behind the first-in crew.
Engine 1 operated at the scene for about 90 minutes operating on Division 1 and 2, operating with a crew of six volunteers.
