As the rest of the live-ins trickled back in from Thanksgiving break, the boys were exchanging war stories when the box was struck for the dwelling on fire at 900 Sheridan St. While enroute, Communications advised a possible corrected address of 819 Somerset Pl., just one block North of the address.
Engine 441 arrived in the area and found a working house fire at 819 Somerset Place. Engine 11, securing 441’s supply line, stretched a line off of 441 to the back of the house and extinguished what little fire there was left, due to some crafty garden hose work by a citizen.
The Squad assumed first due special service responsibilities doing primary searches and opening up. Crews cleared about an hour later.
