The HVFD would like to thank the hundreds of community members who joined us for our annual Open House and Fire Safety Day on Saturday, October 5th.
Guests enjoyed our apparatus displays, the bounce house, several games for the kids, balloon making, and much more.
Guests also got a taste of the action as our two suppression crews and two ambulance crews responded to nearly 30 calls on the day, several of them during Open House.
A special thank you to our probationary members, the Hyattsville Police Department, and all of our community business partners for helping making this event such a success, and we will see you all next year!
