Truck Company First Due on Brentwood Task Force House Fire

At about 1:40 p.m. Friday, December 29th, Truck 1 and Ambulance 1B were among units alerted for a reported house fire in the 4400 block of 39th Street in Brentwood. Truck 1 was the first due special service.

Units arrived with smoke showing from a two-story Cape Cod style home. A fire on the first floor extended into the roof.

No one was injured in the blaze, which displaced seven adults and two children, who are being assisted by the American Red Cross and Prince George’s County Citizens Services Unit from the Office of Emergency Management.
