The Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department's primary response area (first due) includes the majority of the City of Hyattsville, Town of University Hills, Queens Chapel Corridor, Prince George's Plaza/Metro area, and University Hills. Many of these areas can be found on the map below, which can be adjusted.

Secondarily, first-alarm coverage areas include the City of College Park, Brentwood, Mount Rainier, Riverdale Park, Riverdale Heights, Chillum, Adelphi, Bladensburg, Lewisdale, Takoma Park (Montgomery County) and Branchville.
