At 1337 hours, the box was sounded for the house fire at 4221 Cottage Terrace in 55's area. Upon arrival, E551 advised fire showing and forced entry to the house. Truck 1 arrived as the first special service on scene behind units from 55 and 9 and immediately went to work. The Truck split crews with one crew opening up in support of the attack crews and the other crew throwing ladders. The crew also conducted the primary search which proved negative. Truck 1 cleared at 1513 hours.

Friday evening, at 2230 hours, the bells sounded for Truck 1 to respond for the box at 54th Avenue and Riverdale Rd for a house fire. Engine 71 went on scene with fire showing from the third floor. Truck 1 arrived as the second due truck and positioned on side C, D of the fire building. The crew went to work opening the vacant building up for the engine companies, while the stick was extended to the 3rd floor to gain access to the upper floor. Along with the officer, the bars man and tiller man opened up the 2nd, 3rd and attic of the dwelling, while the outside team took bars off windows and put up 175ft of ground ladders. Truck 1 cleared at 1250 hours
