At 2235 hours, E11 and RS1 were alerted to the apartment fire at 5403 Hamilton St. in Co. 9's first due. E11 arrived 4th due and secured a water supply and staged while Squad 1 assumed first due responsibilities per command. Upon entry to the second floor apartment, it was apparent there was only a room off. The squad with 6 went to work opening up, ventilating, and providing lights while E92 wet down the apartment. Both E11 and RS1 were clear of the scene at 2259 hours.
