Around midnight, Engine 72 (Riverdale) was dispatched to the 4900 block of Queensbury Road for reported wires down. When Engine 72 signed on the air, communications filled the assignment to a box for the house filling with smoke.

At 0005 hrs Engine 11 and Truck 1 were dispatched to 4903 Queensbury Rd for the house fire. Engine 72 arrived with smoke showing and fire in the basement. Truck 1 arrived as the first due special service and went to work searching and opening up the basement.

Searches were negative while extension was positive. Crews found fire in multiple parts of the ceiling in the basement and performed overhaul to the basement and 1st floor. Engine 11 supplied Engine 92 and had the back-up line. Units from 1 cleared at 0105 hours.
