The annual HVFD Awards Banquet was held Saturday night, celebrating another great year for the department and honoring its top members.

Matt Leonard took home Member of the Year honors, Mike Monroe received both the President's and Chief's Award, James Butler was the Firefighter of the Year as well as Most Improved Members, with Matthew Graves getting honors at EMS Member of the Year. Christopher Evans was named as the Most Improved Member.

The Top Responder overall for 2007 was Matt Graves (live-in) with 563 responses. Also tops on the live-in list are Jeffrey Kraus (493), Michael Hogan (365), James Butler (356) and William Giusto (320). Top Non Live-In Responders were Matthew Davy (246), Mike Monroe (201), Eric Smolinsky (175) and Greg Smith (121).
