At 1530hrs, Squad 1 was requested on the house fire at 7315 Piney Branch Rd in Montgomery County. Squad 1 arrived as the 3rd due special service and was assigned the search group for the fire building.

The Squad crew searched the second floor and made it to the third floor/attic space to meet with the first line as it advanced to attic. Squad 1 encountered heavy fire in the finished attic, but continued to do their searches and open up ahead of the hose line.

The Squad crew remained on scene for about 90 minutes performing overhaul and hitting hot spots.
