Engine 12 and Squad 1 were dispatched to the 6000 block of 10th Pl for the house on fire. Units arrived to find fire showing from two windows on the first floor.

Engine 12 arrived as the second due engine and stretched a line to the basement to check for extension while the Squad crew assumed the RIT assignment. Part of the Squad crew went to work forcing doors, cutting fences for access to the rear and bars on windows. Crews cleared at 1132 hours.
