January 16th -- At 1933hrs, Truck 1 was dispatched on the house fire at 3716 Shepherd St in Co. 55's first due. Company 55 went on scene with nothing showing. Truck 1 assigned as the second due truck arrived as the first with smoke showing on side alpha with a room off.

The truck crew split up searching and opening up the heavily boarded exterior due to the house being vacant. Reports from people outside stated that two homeless people were still in side. However, the primary and secondary searches proved to be negative. The fire was knocked quick and Truck 1 remained on scene with investigators until 2046hrs.
